Range Rover Kahn Conversion
The Range Rover is a large luxury four-wheel drive sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by British car maker Land Rover. The model, launched in 1970, is now in its third generation. Range Rover is also being developed by Land Rover as its premium brand, and it is used as a brand name on two other models - the Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover Evoque.

Design and Performance
With its size and high centre of gravity, it’s not a car to be thrown through bends. It’s most at home on long straight roads. Some tighter curves on motorways need to be taken under the speed limit. The steering is light, but has the vagaries displayed by virtually all serious off road cars. It displayed impeccable grip and composure during heavy snow, which left many other cars stuck. A rotary dial by the gear stick allows the driver to cycle through tarmac, snow and ice, mud ruts, sand and rock crawl modes, which sets the vehicle accordingly. |
